020-contents

The Cultural and Scientific Exhibition Project Department is primarily plans and produces special and permanent exhibitions held in science centers and museums in Japan. Also, it is involved in the planning and production of large events held in convention hall, including dinosaur expo, and the production of spaces for permanent and other exhibitions from master plan drafting to operation. Otherwise, it leases the contents for traveling exhibitions, including Dinosaur Expo, Insect Exhibition, Brain Trip and Sky Trek.

Dina Science: Dinosaur Anatomy Exhibition

Dina Science:
Dinosaur Anatomy Exhibition

Traveled among nationwide science centers and museums

Exhibition area:
From 100 square meters to 8000 square meters

This project features the evolution of dinosaurs by exhibiting their fossils, replica skeletons and reconstructed environment models, and introducing the latest research information.

Insect Trek: Science of the Insect World

Insect Trek:
Science of the Insect World

Traveled among nationwide science centers and museums

This project offers an exciting experience as an insect via devices that explain the evolution of various insects from ancient times till today and mysteries of their body structures.

Body Trek: Anatomical Journey

Brain Trip
- Exploration of the Brain

This attraction aims to stimulate visitors’ interest in the brain and their curiosity about medicine through a simple clarification of the brain’s mechanism based on the latest information gained from state-of-the-art medicine and science. Its main concept involves touching and learning about the brain from the outside and the inside. In particular, the display uses a zone where visitors can compare and observe the brain’s evolution and functions from real brain specimens of various animals, a zone that allows exploration of the brain’s functions and mechanism through interactive experience-based equipment, and a space that introduces puzzling optical illusions and DNA.

Sky Trek – Flying Braves

Sky Trek – Flying Braves

This exhibition presents the mechanisms of familiar environments – sky, air and flight – from two viewpoints. One involves an introduction to evolutionary history and the flight mechanism based on the vital development of dinosaurs, birds, insects, etc., using resources such as experimental apparatus, biological models and explanatory panels. The other introduces a variety of flight machines from scientific and technological viewpoints, taking into account the long-standing desire and various efforts of the human race to fly in the sky.

Energy Quest: Discover the Mysteries of Energy and Power (preliminary title)

Energy Quest:
Discover the Mysteries of Energy and Power
(preliminary title)

Planning in progress for nationwide science centers and museums

Exhibition area:
From 100 square meters to 300 square meters

We are planning project for leaning about energy with toys and experimental devices that move with various energies.

Dr. Tommy’s Introductory Dinosaur Class

Dr. Tommy’s Introductory Dinosaur Class

In this class, Mr. Kyoichi Tomita, a reptile researcher and dinosaur journalist representing a carnivorous reptile laboratory, will give a kids’ introductory lesson on dinosaurs. Children will learn about these giant creatures from various angles through a simple approach involving the history of their birth, their ecology and a quiz. This is a participatory experience-based class in which children can actually touch and observe genuine dinosaur fossils and view related visual materials.
